I came from a disfunctional family. My brother raped me when I was twelve. At twenty I decided God didn't didn't love me, no one did! I got involved with a married man twice my age. Living with this man and others for one-night stands I thought loved me, I became all the more bitter and hard, and had no self-respect. One night I was raped, became pregnant and had an abortion. After years of this, I'd had enough, No one loved me, life wasn't worth living and I couldn't forgive myself. I overdosed with alcohol and tranquilizers. I woke up after three days in ICU. God gave me another chance. Today, I am "reborn", with a wonderful husband and three healthy children, and at peace with God and myself. Mary.
